The Canadian Artists Delegation was invited to attend the 3rd Nanjing International Art Exhibition.
The Third Nanjing International Art Festival opened on November 12, 2016, in Nanjing, which is sponsored by China Federation of Overseas, Chinese Entrepreneurs, China Public Diplomacy Association, and Baijia Lake International Culture Investment Group, undertaken by Nanjing International Art Festival Organizing Committee and Baijia Lake Museum.
The theme of the 3rd Nanjing International Art Exhibition is History code, Scarcity, and Supply. Through various forms, the festival puts forward and presents issues that different countries and regions are confronted with under the background of globalization so as to have an effect on the academic topics challenging the contemporary art field. The participating artists are from 42 countries and regions worldwide. An impressive artistic feast was presented in the three-month duration.
